Pastor Carlos is the pastor of the church in El Chague. He has had some
major health concerns in the past week. We are asking that you pray for
his recovery and please pray for his family. He had a cyst or growth on
his liver which seems to have caused the trouble. He had the surgery and
is in recovery at the hospital. He thanks you for your prayers. |

September 15, 2008
Roger’s mom was not a believer and she accepted Jesus this past weekend!
We want to give praise first and foremost for that!! Roger has been
praying so long for that. She is in a wheelchair and in another
hospital. She still can’t walk please continue to remember her in your
prayers. We are also doing everything we can for Roger and his family.
Thank you so much for faithful your prayers and support!

Roger Alfredo is one of our beloved employees in Nicaragua. His mother
jumped from a bus when it was her stop. She had continuous pain after
that so she went to the hospital and they found a hernia. She had
surgery on the hernia and after the surgery, she is has not been able to
move her legs. The doctors told her that it could have been the
epidural. She was transferred to a hospital that specializes in
neurological cases. Doctors say the MRI report indicates everything
looks normal. They now think that perhaps she was given too much
anesthesia, or that she moved while they were giving her the epidural
and they may have pinched her somewhere. She has some reflexes but
cannot move her legs. Although she did have feeling when a needle was
used to check her level of sensibility, but she still cannot willingly
move her legs. Doctors are asking for time to see how she progresses.
Roger gives thanks for everyone that has been praying and asks that we
all keep praying. |
